Job Title: Construction Administrative Assistant
Job Description
The construction administrative assistant is responsible for providing administrative support, customer and company relations, and facility management. This role is crucial in ensuring that area billing, reporting, and day-to-day office operations are organized and functional. The construction administrative assistant will work closely with the Area Supervisor and play a vital role in supporting field construction management and crews.
Responsibilities

Ensure area billing, reporting, and day-to-day office operations are organized and functional.

Provide support to field construction management and crews as required.

Assemble and maintain final job packages for handover to billing team.

Identify issues and escalate them to management as necessary.

Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Essential Skills

Demonstrated computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments.

Strong organizational and planning skills.

High commitment to achieving goals and tasks.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associate Degree or higher preferred.

Administrative Experience preferred.

Experience in the utility or construction industry is a plus.

Basic billing experience.

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

High School diploma.
Work Environment
The role is based in a corporate office environment with a business casual dress code. Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 5/6 pm and a half-day on Friday ending by 2-3 pm. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port St. Lucie, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
