Full job description

Serves as a project coordinator to plan, implement and evaluate success of clinical data abstraction and process improvement required for public reporting initiatives. Analyzes quality data for accuracy and areas of opportunity for improvement in abstraction and clinical processes. Coordinates public reporting data validation processes. Performs quality data reviews as needed to comply with accreditation requirements as needed. Serves as a team leader for other Performance Improvement projects. Participates in workflow analysis and process redesign using TEAM STEAM and LEAN methodologies.

BS in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or Management Engineering required. Masters in Nursing, Healthcare Management or Business Administration preferred. Excellent understanding of computer systems design and applications, spreadsheet software (Excel preferred). Experience with project management and change management. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to teach new concepts to all staff and physicians. Strong understanding of performance improvement tools and methodologies, including TEAM Steam and LEAN. Registered Nurse, CPHQ, or other quality certification preferred. Minimum 3 years’ experience with healthcare and project management required.
