PT House Manager

Description

Join a residential team supporting people receiving substance use treatment and recovery services. The House Manager helps maintain a safe, respectful environment in BCRC’s OASAS Part 820 program, coordinates residential routines and staff coverage, responds to urgent needs, and keeps program leaders informed.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate daily residential routines, room readiness, visitor procedures, safety rounds, and shift coverage in a 24-hour setting.

  • Assist with residents’ needs, respond to and document incidents, and facility issues.

  • Engage residents with a person-centered, trauma-informed approach; reinforce program expectations and refer clinical or medical questions to authorized staff.

  • Respond to emergencies and safety concerns, follow overdose response and incident reporting procedures, and notify clinical and program leaders promptly.

  • Maintain accurate communication logs, round records, and incident documentation while protecting resident confidentiality.

Requirements

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of relevant residential, substance use, behavioral health, or human services experience.

  • Clear communication, sound judgment, accurate documentation, and the ability to guide a shift team. Prior shift coordination experience and an associate degree or relevant coursework are preferred.

  • Availability for assigned evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays and ability to move throughout the facility and respond promptly to resident needs.
