Position Overview We're building something special — and we're looking for hungry, competitive, and coachable team members to grow with us.
As a Business Development Representative at FTNI, an Ascendant Company, you'll be on the front lines of our growth story. You'll prospect into mid-market companies across targeted industries, open doors with senior financial decision-makers, and help build the pipeline that fuels our aggressive expansion goals.
This is not a call center job. This is the starting point of a sales career for someone who wants to learn from the best, compete at a high level, and earn significant responsibility fast. The role requires full-time, on-site work at our office location.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Prospect and qualify prospective clients via inbound and outbound prospecting efforts, including phone, personalized video, and email campaigns
- Engage CFOs, Controllers, and VP Finance executives through personalized email, phone, and LinkedIn outreach
- Develop a deep understanding of your target verticals and articulate a credible, financially-grounded value proposition
- Qualify inbound leads and convert interest into scheduled meetings for our senior sales executives
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity and notes in CRM
- Collaborate closely with Sales Management to develop account strategies and prioritize target accounts
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly qualified meeting targets
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Ascendant and FTNI’s full suite of solutions
- Attend and represent FTNI at industry trade events as needed
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in the payments industry and continuously improve product knowledge
What Would Make This an Easy Win?
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field is preferred
