Job Purpose:

This position will be for leading a group of Client Account Managers within the Personal Lines Service Team to service both new and renewal business for clients and prospects. Additionally, the role is responsible for servicing a book of business for both new and renewal business tied to a producer or self-serviced.

Job Duties:

Manages the day-to-day operations of a group of Client Account Manager on the Personal Lines Service Team. Duties include but not limited to recruiting hiring, training, time management (ADP), PTO approval and overall leadership of team.

Responsible for the performance monitoring which includes the preparation and delivery of performance feedback that includes quarterly and annual reviews, developmental actions and disciplinary action.

Responsible for training other associates on efficient processes and workflow procedures.

Will facilitate team and individual meetings via face to face and virtual.

Will be first point of contact for system related issues and ensuring resolution.

Responsible for assisting in the new business process as well as managing the renewal processes for a specified book of business. Responsible for retention and net book growth of the team.

Initiate renewal process with existing clients.

Cross sell additional lines to existing clients and make referrals both internally and across all lines of business.

Daily maintenance of automated systems consisting primarily of Applied Epic and Microsoft Outlook.

Opportunity to sell new business earning new commissions.

Will perform special projects as assigned.

Education, Job Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business, insurance or a related field or a reputable industry designation.

5+ years of experience in insurance, especially within an independent brokerage firm preferred.

Strong knowledge of insurance products, coverages, regulations and industry procedures.

Exceptional communication, negotiation and leadership skills

Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to stay organized and prioritize duties

Results-driven with a commitment to achieving and exceeding expectations.

Team Player

Ability to travel for required for trainings, meetings, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, insurance or a related field or a reputable industry designation.
