Full job description
The Division of Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi seeks to recruit a motivated Post-Doctoral Associate to conduct research in structural mechanics under the supervision of Prof. Khaled Shahin.
Candidates must have a strong background in fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites, with experience in testing, manufacturing, or modeling preferred. Working within a collaborative team of PhD-level scientists and undergraduate student, the successful candidate will conduct innovative research, publish in scientific journals and conference proceedings, mentor undergraduate students, and assist with grant proposals.
Applicants must have a PhD in civil or mechanical engineering, or closely related fields, and be less than 5 years post-receipt of the doctoral degree.
