By joining United Site Services, you will be part of an organization that values continuous improvement, teamwork, and excellence in every aspect of our business.

Primary Purpose

The Sr. Director, Solution Delivery leads the Information Technology organization's project and program delivery function, overseeing the full lifecycle of enterprise technology initiatives from intake through deployment and stabilization. This role is accountable for building and maturing a scalable delivery organization - encompassing project/program management, business analysis, and delivery governance - that reliably translates business strategy into technology outcomes across United Site Services' operating locations.

The Sr. Director partners closely with IT leadership, business unit stakeholders, and third-party vendors/implementation partners to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the quality standards required by a fast-growing, multi-site services business.

Essential Functions

  • Own end-to-end delivery of the IT project portfolio, including ERP, field service/route management, CRM, data & analytics, and infrastructure initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and enterprise architecture standards.

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Solution Delivery team (program/project managers, business analysts, and scrum masters), establishing career paths, performance standards, and staffing plans.

  • Establish and continuously improve delivery methodology, governance, and PMO standards (Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid), including intake, prioritization, resource capacity planning, and portfolio reporting.

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for at-risk projects; proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate scope, schedule, budget, and quality risks to executive stakeholders.

  • Partner with the CIO and IT leadership team to translate the enterprise technology roadmap and business strategy into an executable, prioritized delivery plan.

  • Manage relationships with systems integrators, software vendors, and consulting partners; oversee statements of work, contract deliverables, and vendor performance.

  • Own the IT capital and project expense budget for the delivery portfolio, providing accurate forecasting, financial tracking, and ROI/benefits-realization reporting to Finance and executive leadership.

  • Drive change management and organizational readiness activities in partnership with business sponsors to maximize adoption of new systems and processes across field and corporate teams.

  • Define and report portfolio-level KPIs and delivery metrics (on-time/on-budget performance, quality, value realized) to the CIO, executive leadership, and the Board as required.

  • Champion continuous improvement of delivery practices, tooling (e.g., PPM/Agile platforms), and cross-functional collaboration between IT, Operations, Finance, and Sales.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly manages a team of Project/Program Managers, Business Analysts, and Delivery Leads (typically 6–12 direct/indirect reports); carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and professional development.

  • Experience operating within a private-equity-owned or high-growth, acquisitive organization is a plus.

  • PMP, PgMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or SAFe certification preferred.

  • Strong command of both Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies, with the judgment to apply the right approach by initiative.

  • Proven ability to build and scale a delivery organization, including process design, governance frameworks, and team development.

  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical business audiences and influence at the C-suite and Board level.

  • Strong financial acumen, including budget ownership, vendor contract management, and business-case/ROI development.
