Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled senior software engineer with strong expertise in Python and hands-on experience in building AI-driven systems using large language models (LLMs). The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of modern AI architectures, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agent-based frameworks, along with solid experience in scalable backend systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using Python.
• Build and optimise AI solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agent frameworks.
• Integrate and manage APIs and microservices architectures.
• Work with vector databases for efficient data retrieval and semantic search.
• Design end-to-end AI system architectures with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and product managers.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend development.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, and agent-based frameworks.
• Solid understanding of APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with vector databases (e. g., Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, etc. )
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities.

Good to Have:

• Experience with AI/ML model deployment and monitoring.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and fine-tuning techniques.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
