QA Software Testing Associate - 6-Month Contract (Hybrid), Plymouth, MN

Start Date: ASAP

Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite

About the Role:

Join a team dedicated to making the world healthier and safer. In this position, you’ll collaborate with Software Test Engineers to execute and document tests for proprietary software used in sterilizing medical equipment worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute assigned test cases and scenarios

  • Identify, log, and manage software defects

  • Perform exploratory/ad-hoc testing

  • Validate software tools per corporate procedures

  • Assist with creating process documents and training material

  • Develop test cases for less complex modules

Requirements:

  • Minimum Educational Requirement: High school diploma or GED, Associate's in Computer Science or higher degree preferred

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Ability to understand and execute test scenarios

  • Professional work habits (attendance, teamwork, time management)

  • Team player able to follow project direction

  • Prior QA/testing experience

Highly Preferred:

  • Experience with any testing tools: HPQC, TestRail, Postman, Gherkin/Cucumber

  • Experience with Jira, GIT, Visual Studios, Confluence, Splunk

  • Understanding Manual testing, Automation Testing, Defect Reporting/Bug Tracking, Database testing, Integration testing, Regression/Smoke Testing
