Work You'll Do
As a Lead Data Engineer II on the team, you will be responsible for:

Support AIE's integration layer and data migration workstreams across enterprise platforms
-
Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft flows connecting 13+ upstream and downstream Army systems
-
Develop and maintain the Soldier Data Import (SDI) pipeline in Informatica for migration of legacy data into AIE
-
Execute extraction, transformation, load, and validation activities to support accurate and timely data migration

Troubleshoot integration and data issues, improve pipeline performance, and support delivery across technical workstreams

Qualifications
Required
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a technical field
-
7+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise data integration solutions
-
3+ years of experience building application programming interfaces using MuleSoft
-
3+ years of experience developing extract, transform, and load pipelines using Informatica
-
3+ years of experience supporting data migration, data validation, and legacy data conversion activities
-
Active Secret security clearance
-
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred

Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

Experience supporting United States Army or other federal government technology programs
-
Experience integrating multiple enterprise applications in a production environment
-
Experience developing data mapping, transformation, and validation rules for legacy-to-target migrations
-
Experience using Structured Query Language for data analysis, reconciliation, and issue resolution
-
Experience leading technical workstreams or mentoring engineers
-
Experience working in Agile delivery environments
The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $137,700 to $229,500.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
