Join a well-established company in the fresh produce industry as an Account Auditor and take the next step in your accounting career. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to break into accounting from a more analytical perspective, combining accounts receivable analysis, data review, and problem-solving. In this role, you'll gain valuable experience researching customer accounts, identifying payment discrepancies, reconciling balances, supporting audit and compliance efforts, and helping ensure the accuracy of financial records while building a strong foundation for long-term growth in accounting and finance.
Qualifications
1+ year of customer service, administrative, data entry, or accounting duties
Advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables and VLOOKUPS)
Associates or bachelors degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business preferred
Job Description
The Account Auditor provides critical support to the Sales, Purchasing, and Marketing departments by auditing rebates and other programs, analyzing sales data, and ensuring accurate recording and timely collection of supplier-funded program funds. This role helps drive the success of company initiatives by maintaining strong relationships with supplier accounting contacts and safeguarding the integrity of financial information.
Responsibilities

Provide exceptional support to the Sales, Purchasing, and Marketing departments to ensure the success of company initiatives.

Audit rebates and other incentive programs through detailed analysis of sales data from multiple sources.

Accurately enter program data and rebate information into accounting and business systems.

Audit supplier receivables and other program-related funds to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Monitor and ensure timely collection of supplier-funded rebates and program funds.

Maintain close and consistent working relationships with supplier accounting contacts to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights related to rebate programs and supplier funding.

Use Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting systems to prepare reports, reconcile data, and support audits.

Identify and escalate issues related to rebate calculations, collections, or supplier accounts as needed.

Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes and data integrity within the organization.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, ID.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
