Operations Analyst / Operations Support Specialist

Location: Baltimore, MD 21224 (Onsite)

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Salary: $32.95/hr (W2 Only)

Job Summary

We are seeking an Operations Analyst / Operations Support Specialist to support and improve business operations by analyzing processes, identifying root causes of issues, developing solutions, and providing operational support to internal customers. This role is highly focused on problem-solving, process improvement, documentation, testing, and stakeholder support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.

  • Research and improve business processes and operational workflows.

  • Support users by providing operational guidance, answering questions, and delivering training.

  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other documentation.

  • Create and execute testing methods to validate operational processes and system changes.

  • Document test results and operational findings.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing operational initiatives.

  • Continuously enhance knowledge through training and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.

  • OR an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an operational, business support, or operations analysis role.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience developing SOPs and process documentation.

  • Background in operational process improvement.

  • Experience conducting testing and documenting results.

  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat.
