Full job description
Our client, a manufacturing facility specializing in production support, is seeking a Utility to join their team. As a Utility, you will be part of the production support department supporting the plate department. The ideal candidate will have reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Utility
Location: Folkston, GA
Pay Range: $16
Shift: 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
What's the Job?

Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand

Clean, sweep, and mop the production floor to maintain a safe and organized environment

Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated areas efficiently
-
Attach identifying tags or labels to materials and mark information on containers
-
Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band bundles together
What's Needed?

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
-
Basic reading and interpretation skills for safety rules, forms, and labels
-
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
-
Ability to follow safety guidelines and work in a manufacturing environment

Willingness to perform various tasks as assigned by supervisors
