Summary You will serve as a PRODUCTION BUSINESS RESOURCE SPECIALIST in the Production Resources Department (c-900) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. PAY RANGE GS-09: $64,438 - $83,774 GS-07: $52,680 - $68,485 A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary. Responsibilities You will review and analyze production, travel, human capital, and administrative programs. You will advise on program progress and make recommendations based on established practices concerning the modification of program goals, objectives and milestones. You will gather and review a variety of narrative or statistical data to prepare reports. You will maintain knowledge of the production trades, as well as general working knowledge of the trade functions within the shipyard. You will prepare and present materials, reports, proposals and program requirements. You will determine when new procedures are needed, study alternatives, and establish practices and procedures to meet new situations. You will perform analytical studies on programs related to workforce improvement, management controls, and long-range planning. You will analyze issues and formulate recommendations for improving organizational efficiency or effectiveness. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing collected data from multiple systems or administrative programs (i.e. staffing, travel, organizational planning, personnel) to identify workforce or Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) deficiencies and develop recommendations for management to support an industrial organization. For GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting with compiling data from multiple systems or administrative programs (i.e. staffing, travel, organizational planning, personnel) to produce reports, spreadsheets, or presentations utilizing a range of software applications (i.e. Microsoft word, Excel Outlook, etc.). Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: For the GS-09 Grade Level: Successful completion of a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related or A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. For the GS-07 Grade Level: 1 full year of graduate level education or A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement. or A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
