Full job description

Our client, is seeking a IQA Technician II to join their team.

Job Title: IQA Technician II

Location: 387 Technology Circle NW, Suite 500, Atlanta, GA, United States

Pay-$24/hr on W2

What's the Job?

  • Supports manufacturing and testing operations adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to satisfy regulatory requirements for receiving and inspection.

  • Completes tier 1 & tier 2 inspections to test inbound material used to assemble complex medical devices, including manual routine inspections and operation of advanced upper-level instrumentation (e.g., 3D/2D digital measuring projector and/or optical testing and visualization instruments such as OGP, Keyence IM, etc.).

  • Accepts and rejects supplier lots based on inspection results, documenting non-conformance or suspected non-conformance through required paperwork, system transactions, and identification of unsuccessful audits with appropriate mark/sign-off.

  • Reviews applicable sampling plans and control plans, interprets drawings, compares supplier and internal measurement/inspection methods, provides alternative inspection methods, and supports troubleshooting and continuous quality improvement.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 2-5 years experience, with previous experience performing quality inspections.

  • Experience with measurement equipment, hand tools, gages, and pressure and force gage testing.

  • Training in blueprint reading and experience with inspection sampling techniques.

  • Knowledge of FDA, GMP, and ISO 13485, along with good communication and computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
