As a Licensed Clinician, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health services to children, youth, and adults experiencing mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess client needs, develop individualized treatment plans, coordinate care, and support clients and their families on their path to recovery. Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) plus:
A master's degree in social work followed by three years of social services experience.The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here.Job Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for children, youth, and adults with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
- Provide individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, and supportive counseling to help clients achieve their treatment goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, schools, community providers, and other support systems to coordinate comprehensive behavioral health services.
- Monitor client progress, revise individualized Plans of Care as needed, and maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation, including assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Connect clients and families with community resources while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, professional ethics, organizational policies, and Louisiana licensing standards.
- Manage a diverse caseload, participate in staff development and quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered behavioral health team dedicated to improving outcomes across the lifespan.
