Summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties
- You will serve as the principal advisor for the station and tenant activities on all matters related to fuel management.
- You will provide options and makes recommendations to Detachment Director to resolve difficult or unique situations.
- You will maintain contact with customers to determine operational requirements are met, attends facility planning meetings and liaison with deployed units for augmentation services to include funding and technical resolution to meet readiness.
- You will analyze incoming correspondence, directives and messages by researching, validating, preparing, answering data calls and replying with outgoing correspondence and reports.
- You will be responsible for facility sustainment, restoration and maintenance beyond fuel service contracts.
- You will evaluate contractor's day-to-day compliance with all contract provisions and monitors the performance of contract personnel.
- You will provide technical assistance to the contractor regarding location and operation of valves, lines, switches, pumps, motors, etc.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing incoming correspondence, directives and/or messages by researching, validating, preparing, answering data calls and replying with correspondence and reports. 2) Assisting in preparing annual budget request for operations budget. 3) Ensuring operations, facilities and plans comply with federal, state and local environmental protection laws. 4) Analyzing and identifying needed changes to the fuel service contract specifications. 5) Screening reports, training records and/or other forms used by the contractor to document actions concerning performance of the fuel service contract. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
