Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Java Developer to join one of our largest financial services clients and sit in Richardson, Texas. This candidate will be joining the engineering team within Platform Solutions that supports the backend systems powering their customer lifecycle. The team is responsible for building and enhancing services that drive customer onboarding, account booking, card management, and other critical account-related functions. This individual will work closely with engineers and product partners to develop scalable, event-driven microservices and help deliver high-performance solutions that support millions of cardholders.
Skills and Requirements
- 4-6 years of hands-on Java development experience building enterprise-grade applications
- Strong experience with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot and microservices architecture
- Experience working with Apache Kafka in event-driven and distributed system environments
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB and NoSQL data modeling concepts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Recent experience working within financial services
