Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Developer - Continuous Improvement & Innovation to drive enterprise automation, digital transformation, and next-generation technology initiatives. This role will work directly with business and technology leaders to design scalable solutions, develop architectural roadmaps, and lead innovation efforts focused on improving business processes through automation, AI, data platforms, and modern application development.

The ideal candidate is a strategic technical leader who can envision future-state solutions, guide global development teams, and transform complex business challenges into scalable enterprise capabilities.

  • Lead the design and development of innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency, productivity, and business performance.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to assess current processes and identify opportunities for automation and modernization.
  • Define architectural frameworks and future-state solution roadmaps for enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Serve as the technical lead responsible for translating business requirements into scalable solution designs.
  • Direct and mentor offshore development resources while reviewing, validating, and governing technical deliverables.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and determine how they can be leveraged to accelerate digital transformation initiatives.
  • Design and build AI-enabled solutions, intelligent workflows, automation frameworks, and enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate closely with technology architects, business leaders, and delivery teams to align technical solutions with strategic objectives.
  • Provide leadership on platform modernization efforts involving cloud technologies, data platforms, and enterprise systems.
  • Establish development standards, governance practices, and architectural best practices across projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives while balancing short-term tactical needs with long-term strategic goals.
  • Participate in innovation programs focused on AI agents, enterprise search platforms, advanced analytics, and intelligent automation.

Compensation: $50/hr to $65/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of software development experience with increasing technical leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong development experience with: Python, C#, .NET Technologies, API Development and Integration, Enterprise Application Design
  • Experience leading technical architecture, solution design, and application modernization initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage and guide distributed development teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and enterprise solution delivery.
  • Experience creating technical roadmaps, architectural designs, and implementation strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
