Duration: 6 months contract

Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced Android Software Engineer to join a collaborative product engineering team focused on building engaging, personalized, and data-driven mobile experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and the Android SDK.

  • In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications while partnering closely with Product, UX/UI, QA, and other engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Android application features using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and the Android SDK.

  • Translate product and design requirements into scalable, intuitive, and robust mobile experiences.

  • Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, QA, and Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to maintain high-quality engineering standards.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following modern Android development practices.

  • Integrate and work with APIs and backend services to support application functionality.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and technical issues.

  • Use Git/GitHub for source control, including branching, committing, pushing changes, merging, resolving conflicts, and collaborating through code reviews.

Experience:

  • 3–4+ years of professional software engineering experience for an Intermediate-level position or 5+ years for a Senior-level position.

  • Strong hands-on experience developing Android applications using Kotlin.

  • Professional experience with Jetpack Compose.

  • Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and modern Android development practices.

  • Experience working with Git and GitHub, including branches, commits, pull requests, merges, and conflict resolution.

Skillsets:

  • Android applications using Kotlin

  • Jetpack

  • Android SDK

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical software development experience.
