Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator
Job Description
The Clinical Research Coordinator supports a clinical trial at a research site by identifying and recruiting eligible participants, educating them about the study, and ensuring they remain engaged and compliant throughout the trial. This part-time position, averaging around 20 hours per week, requires strong clinical research experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate confidently with both participants and research staff.
Responsibilities

Review electronic medical records (EMR) to assess potential participants against study inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Pre-screen potential participants based on protocol-defined eligibility requirements.

Recruit and enroll participants into the clinical trial in accordance with study protocols and applicable regulatory requirements.

Provide clear and thorough education to participants about the clinical trial, including study procedures, expectations, risks, and follow-up requirements.

Conduct follow-up communications with participants to support retention and ensure ongoing compliance with the study protocol.

Schedule in-person visits and follow-up appointments and send reminders and relevant information to participants in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of chart reviews, pre-screening activities, and participant interactions in the EMR and study records.

Conduct community outreach activities to raise awareness of the clinical trial and support participant recruitment.

Build and maintain referral provider networks to support patient referrals into the study.

Provide chart review support at referral provider clinics to identify and pre-screen potential participants.

Perform data collection and entry into EDC system.

Resolve queries within the data.
Essential Skills
-
Proven experience working as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
-
At least 2 years of patient recruitment experience in a clinical research setting.

At least 2 years of experience using electronic medical records (EMR) and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
-
Demonstrated ability to pre-screen patients against protocol-defined inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Strong skills in chart review and data documentation within EMR systems.

Experience conducting patient recruitment and enrollment for clinical trials.

Training in HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements.
-
Training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with participants and research staff.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple participants, visits, and documentation requirements.

Experience supporting clinical trials at research sites.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinical and research teams.

Comfort with a fast-paced environment and adapting to evolving study needs.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
