Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Communications Program Manager for a top federal consulting client supporting the Department of Homeland Security. This individual will lead a large, high-performing communications and consulting team supporting a mission-critical federal program. The ideal candidate will bring deep DHS experience, strategic communications expertise, and a proven background managing FFP contracts in a prime contractor environment. Responsibilities include overseeing program delivery, managing subcontractors and internal staff, driving stakeholder engagement initiatives, advising senior federal leaders, and ensuring all work is delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest standard of quality. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a high-profile government organization while leading complex communications and program management efforts. Serve as the primary program management lead supporting a federal government client Build and maintain strong relationships with DHS stakeholders and senior government officials Oversee contractor and subcontractor performance across all program activities Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of project tasks and deliverables Provide technical management, oversight, and quality assurance for all workstreams Lead strategic communications initiatives and stakeholder engagement efforts Manage project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting Oversee contract, budget, and financial management activities Facilitate internal and client-facing meetings Manage, mentor, and develop consulting team members Identify and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies Coordinate planned and ad hoc client requests while maintaining transparency with stakeholders Represent senior executives within a high-profile federal agency environment Maintain collaboration between client teams and corporate leadership

Skills and Requirements

Active Top Secret Clearance BA/BS degree 10+ years of project/program management experience Strong Strategic Communications background Direct DHS experience Experience managing FFP (Firm Fixed Price) contracts Experience managing subcontractors and internal staff in a prime contractor environment 5+ years of people management experience, including performance reviews and career development Experience advising senior-level federal government clients on a daily basis PMP Certification Strategic planning expertise Stakeholder engagement experience Process improvement and organizational efficiency experience
