Responsibilities

• Manage the operational, financial and personnel activities of the Safety & Security Department.

• Oversees staff development and ensures required training and certifications are maintained and documented.

• Evaluates employee performance.

• Promotes safe work performance by enforcing safety policies, implementing safety programs and training employees in safe practices.

• Manages departmental budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.

• Responsible for performance improvement activities for the Safety & Security department.

• Maintains and improves security systems including surveillance, access control, and communication tools.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma/GED required

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred

Experience:

• 3+ years of Supervisory/Management experience is required
