Job Description
This individual will be responsible for ensuring all electrical systems are installed, tested, and operating according to design specifications, client requirements, and project objectives.
Day to Day:
- Lead all electrical commissioning activities from construction completion through project turnover.
- Develop and manage commissioning plans, procedures, schedules, and execution strategies.
- Coordinate commissioning efforts between owners, contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and equipment vendors.
- Oversee startup, functional testing, integrated systems testing, and final acceptance of electrical systems.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, test procedures, and commissioning documentation.
- Track commissioning progress and ensure all testing activities are completed on schedule.
- Identify and resolve commissioning issues, deficiencies, and system conflicts.
Skills and Requirements
Required Qualifications:

5-10 years of experience in electrical commissioning on large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, mission-critical, or data center projects.

Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, transformers, protective relays, and medium-voltage systems.

Experience with startup, testing, and turnover processes.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and commissioning documents. Plusses:

Forma (ACC AutoDesk) experience
