DUTIES:

Rush-Henrietta is seeking candidates for a full-time, tenure-track position as a school nurse. The school nurse will be responsible for the provision and coordination of school health services for students and staff at the school building, Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, maintaining student health, and immunization records; conducting various medical screenings; working with the building team to address health-related needs that impact learning, and supervising the health office staff.

SALARY:

Highly competitive, based on experience and earned graduate credits, per the Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required: Holds a Bachelor's Degree or higher in the field of nursing; holds current license as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State; has experience in the area of pediatric, and/or school nursing; possess professional role-modeling, communication, cultural competence, and interpersonal skills; a strong knowledge of school nursing procedures and services, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality are expected. Preferred:Holds New York State teaching certification as a School Nurse Teacher.
