Responsibilities
The Administrator for Perioperative Service Business Operations has responsibility for the support departments throughout the ORMC and Pavilion Perioperative Services to include: Sterile Processing Department, Surgical Tissue oversight, Perioperative Services Materials Management, Special Orders, Perioperative Services Scheduling, and Guest Relations. This position is responsible for providing operational oversight of assigned departments including developing their strategic plans, formulating budgets, business analytics, managing specific projects, developing/revising policy, making timely decisions that directly impact business operations, ensuring timely and effective communication, and collaboration amongst departments. He/She will act as an administrative liaison to patients, families, hospital employees and external customers. This position will serve as Liaison to the Physician Offices, Department of Anesthesia, and Department of Surgery to foster positive relations and programmatic growth and development.

The range for the role is $140,868- $176,085 (annual salary)
Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Master Degree in Hospital or Business Administration, Science of Nursing or related area is required. Bachelor Degree in Nursing is required.
Minimum Experience:
Seven years experience in Administration with at least five years in a senior leadership capacity. Product line experience a plus. Membership in the American College of Healthcare Executives is desirable.
Required Certification/Registration:
New York State Registered Nurse License
Physical Requirements:
Stands, walk, sits intermittently throughout the day. Lifts, pushes/pulls light to heavy weights as required.
