We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/Porter who takes pride in creating a clean, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for our residents and guests. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the property’s daily presentation—ensuring common areas shine, supporting building operations, and contributing to a seamless living experience. If you’re proactive, take ownership in your work, and understand that consistency is key to excellence, you’ll thrive as part of a team that sets the standard in luxury living.

Compensation:

$20.00/hour

What You’ll Do:

Grounds & Common Areas

• Sweep sidewalks, terraces, lobbies, and hallways

• Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the building

• Respond quickly to spills, weather-related messes, or other safety hazards

Cleaning & Detailing

• Clean and polish floors, glass, mirrors, brass, and woodwork

• Deep clean as needed (carpet cleaning, grout scrubbing, waxing floors)

• Maintain the laundry room, fitness center, and management offices

• Report any damage or safety issues to the Resident Manager

Building Maintenance Support

• Clean stairwells, service areas, and the compactor room

• Change light bulbs and help prepare units for new residents

• Use building systems to log tasks and report ongoing issues

Resident & Concierge Support

• Cover the front desk during concierge breaks

• Monitor service doors during move-ins and deliveries

• Assist with unit inspections and ensure spaces look great for tours

Special Projects & Events

• Help set up and clean shared spaces like lounges, rooftops, and gyms

• Support building events and gatherings by helping with logistics and cleanup

• Keep shared spaces looking welcoming and refreshed

Sustainability & Safety

• Keep elevators, trash rooms, and amenity areas clean and odor-free

• Support recycling and compost programs

• Perform scent and cleanliness checks to ensure the building feels fresh

• Participate in team meetings and be open to cross-training

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of prior janitor, cleaner, or porter experience

• Must be reliable and have experience working with cleaning chemicals

• Must be a team player and be able to work with little supervision

• Excellent time management skills and work ethic needed

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be able to stand for an 8-hour shift

• Light maintenance knowledge is a plus
