Department Description:
Exciting opportunity to provide new models of care for Outpatient Psychiatry. The new CHA CBHC Malden and Cambridge program provides behavioral health evaluation, resource referral, and initial treatment services for individuals of all ages.
Summary
Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, performs a wide range of administrative and secretarial functions to ensure the efficient operation of the CBHC Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Department, which includes providing essential support to the core clinical teams—specifically the Health Integration Program, and RISE teams-and offering additional support to specialized services such as the Haitian, Latinx, Portuguese teams, the Geriatric Service, the Outpatient Addictions Service, the Purple, Green, Pink, and Blue teams
Qualifications/Requirements

High School/GED required. Associates Degree preferred

At least two years’ experience as an administrative coordinator/secretary or comparable experience preferably in healthcare, and ideally in mental health care.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, as well as sound judgment.

Must have good problem-solving skills and the ability to gather and interpret data; to resolve problems.

Requires knowledge of, and experience using, Microsoft Office, Google Suite and EPIC - the CHA Electronic Medical Record System.
