Full job description
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Record keeping of student attendance, student records, report cards and student scheduling. PAY GRADE: N-207- Grade 4 - Salary Range: $26,340.00 to $40,302.00. Salary placement will be based on Douglas County Board of Education approved salary schedules and years of verified experience. FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 207 Days (11 Months) REPORTS TO: Principal EDUCATION LEVEL: High School Graduate PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities. Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body; sedentary work involves sitting most of the time; jobs are sedentary if working and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. PROFICIENT SKILLS: Computer and bookkeeping/record keeping skills; general knowledge of all office equipment; maintain confidentiality of all records. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Essential duties are assigned to the 11-Month Office/Health Monitor Clerk based on the needs of the school and may vary from one school to another.
- Demonstrates regular attendance and is punctual
- Enter and maintain all student attendance records daily
- Maintain all student permanent records/cards
- Process all student records request
- Assist with calculating the graduation rate.
- Process all new student records and assign schedules
- Prepare records for storage at the records center
- Transfer student records to other schools
- Perform other duties assigned by the principal
