Looking for an excellent Administrative opportunity? Please consider applying for our Full-time Admissions Assistant position at our DeKalb (formally Wesley Woods) Community. The Full-time Admissions Assistant position is Dayshift, Monday through Friday.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Admissions with marketing initiatives and admissions processes.
  • Coordinate and process new resident admissions, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately.
  • Conduct community tours for prospective residents and families.
  • Review referral information to determine admission eligibility.
  • Verify insurance coverage for prospective admissions.
  • Manage a high volume of admissions, phone calls, inquiries, and referrals while providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate admission records and ensure compliance with community policies.

Full-time Admissions Assistant qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • 2 year of Admissions Experience required
  • 1 year experience in LTC/skilled nursing community preferred
  • Experience working in an Eden Alternative community preferred
  • Experience working in a nonprofit environment preferred
  • Genuine passion for working with elders
  • Excellent customer service and communication/phone skills
  • Good Computer, Typing and Communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed
