Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an engineer to work within Microsoft Fabric to design and enhance the organization's enterprise data platform, developing scalable data solutions, and semantic models that enable business users to access and understand critical information. They will partner closely with business stakeholders to translate processes and requirements into data models, ontologies, and AI-enabled solutions, leveraging GenAI and automation tools to improve efficiency and decision-making. This role blends data architecture, platform engineering, and AI innovation, requiring someone who can connect business problems with modern data and AI capabilities.

Skills and Requirements

  • Hands on experience building data solutions within Microsoft Fabric
  • Experience developing semantic models, semantic layers, and ontologies within Microsoft Fabric to support analytics and AI use cases
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and enterprise data management concepts
  • Experience with process automation and GenAI-enabled solutions
  • Working knowledge of software development fundamentals, including SDLC and deployment practices
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Data governance background and knowledge including Metadata Management and Data Catalogs
