Digital Analytics Engineer

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Digital Analytics Engineer to support digital analytics and tracking across web and mobile platforms. This person will implement and maintain tagging solutions using Google Tag Manager, support analytics initiatives, CRM activation, experimentation, and personalization efforts, and ensure accurate, compliant data collection across digital channels. The role partners with CRM, Media, IT, Engineering, Legal, and Analytics teams to manage tracking implementations, support CAPI integrations, validate data quality, and maintain tagging standards. Ideal candidates will have strong experience with Google Tag Manager, digital analytics platforms, JavaScript, web technologies, and Adobe Target.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in digital analytics implementation, tag management, or marketing technology
• Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM), including custom events, variables, and triggers
• Experience with client-side, server-side, and hybrid tagging implementations
• Working proficiency in JavaScript for tagging logic and experimentation triggers
• Experience with Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics
• Experience supporting Conversion API implementations (Facebook CAPI, Snapchat CAPI, Google CAPI, etc.)
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, APIs, JSON, and browser debugging tools
• Experience partnering with CRM, Media, IT, and Legal stakeholders
• Strong documentation, communication, and requirements gathering skills
• General knowledge and application of AI tools within marketing technology environments
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with Adobe Target or similar experimentation/personalization platforms
• Experience supporting web and mobile app analytics implementations
• Experience working in privacy-sensitive or consent-managed environments
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience in enterprise-level marketing technology ecosystems
