A Snapshot of Your Day:

As the Maintenance Manager position at the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Chouteau Power Plant in Oklahoma is essential for ensuring business continuity and supporting Siemens Energy’s service commitments by leading the maintenance team to guarantee reliable, safe, and efficient plant operations. This role focuses on overseeing daily operations, ensuring long-term equipment health, and adhering to mandatory safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in power plant maintenance, proven leadership capabilities, and a strong background in managing safety, quality, and budgetary controls.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Leadand develop a team of maintenance professionals, setting operational goalsand managing performance to enhance team effectiveness and ensureoperational availability of power plant equipment.

  • Plan,schedule, and direct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenanceactivities while managing budgets and controlling costs, reporting keyperformance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.

  • Respondrapidly and effectively to equipment failures and operational disruptionsto minimize downtime and maintain plant efficiency.

  • Developand implement long-term asset management strategies to improve plantreliability, efficiency, and lifespan, while overseeing continuousimprovement processes for maintenance procedures.

  • Manageprocurement and inventory of spare parts and tools, optimizing stocklevels and availability, and analyze operational data to forecast needsand identify failure trends.

  • EnforceEnvironment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies to ensure a zero-harmworkplace, ensuring compliance with quality standards and conducting riskassessments for all maintenance activities.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’sdegree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)with 5-8 years of experience in power generation, maintenance, or plantoperations.

  • Candidateswith more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice versa.

  • Strongtechnical knowledge of power plant systems, including thermodynamics,fluid dynamics, high-pressure steam, and mechanical, electrical, andinstrumentation equipment.

  • Provenleadership experience with the ability to lead teams, drive performance,and promote a collaborative, safety-focused culture.

  • Abilityto navigate complex technical documentation, contracts, and stakeholderrelationships within a global organization.

  • Excellentcommunication, organizational, and digital skills, with a proactiveapproach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

  • Applicantsmust be legally authorized for employment in the United States withoutneed for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
