Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Wireless RF Engineer to sit onsite at an automotive client in Newark, California. This person will support the development and validation of various wireless radios in vehicles. In this role, they will be responsible for RF performance testing, antenna performance testing, troubleshooting units and production support for RF assemblies.
(This role can pay $50-55 depending on years of experience)
Skills and Requirements
-3-5 years of experience in wireless design & validation for automotive &/or consumer electronic products across multiple wireless standards. -Bachelor's in electrical engineering, Masters preferred. -Understanding of one or more of the following radio technologies: UWB, Wi-Fi, LTE, 5G, Bluetooth, GPS. -Experience with schematic design & PCB layout. -Experience debugging and optimizing wireless products. -Experience in using modelling & simulation tools such as MATLAB, ANSYS HFSS, CST Studio Suite, Keysight ADS etc. -Experience with various RF lab equipment such as VNA, Spectrum analyzer, Litepoint equipment, CMW500, CMX500 etc. -Experience fixturing PCBs to prepare for RF validation & antenna OTA test. -Design experience in one or more of the following areas: RF system design and analysis, antenna design, or practical implementation of complex RF systems. -Knowledge of EMI/EMC design and mitigation techniques. -Develop and execute RF validation test plans to ensure performance and reliability. -Conduct RF measurements and troubleshooting to identify issues and optimize performance. -Expertise in EMC/EMI testing.
