DESCRIPTION

The Costco Regional Manager owns the field. The role is accountable for putting a fully staffed, fully prepared team on the floor of every roadshow in its region, and for the performance and retention of the Brand Ambassadors who work for them.

This role is the face of Premium to Costco in its region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Show coverage across the region.

  • Costco warehouse relationships and first-line Costco escalation.

  • Brand Ambassador performance, development and retention.

  • Schedule integrity and field data accuracy.

  • Payroll, time and expense approval.

  • Regional hiring in partnership with Recruiting.

  • Internal operational issues route to the Operations Manager.

  • Costco warehouse issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three or more years managing hourly field, retail, or event teams across multiple sites or markets.

  • Direct people leadership hourly staff, including hiring, onboarding, performance and attendance management.

  • Experience staffing at volume against a fixed calendar, with accountability for coverage.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and hold working relationships with retailer, host-site or venue management, and to resolve issues on someone else's floor.

  • Working proficiency with scheduling, workforce management and timekeeping systems, and the discipline to keep them current.

  • Experience closing payroll and approving time and expense for a team.

  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned region, including weekends during show periods.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

  • Retail services, agency, or brand experience supporting concurrent client programs.

  • Roadshow, demo, event or in-store activation background.

  • Experience partnering with third-party staffing agencies on coverage.

  • Bilingual ability.
