A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic team at the Siemens-Energy Richland Switchgear Factory, where you will play a vital role as an Occupational Nurse. Imagine treating employees with minor on-site injuries and facilitating their return to work, all while collaborating closely with the Safety Manager and Safety Coordinator to identify hazards and prevent injuries. You will actively participate in ergonomics assessments and job hazard analyses, driving improved health outcomes and supporting our wellness programs. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all. How You’ll Make an Impact

Treat employees sustaining minor on-site injuries and refer them to outside medical facilities as needed.

Assist with case management for injured workers, facilitating their return to work.

Participate in ergonomics assessments and job hazard analyses to enhance workplace safety.

Drive health outcomes by managing workplace health risks and supporting employee well-being initiatives.

Collaborate with the Safety Manager to recognize hazards and prevent injuries effectively.

Maintain accurate OSHA 300 logs and generate injury/illness metrics as required.
What You Bring
-
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field, with a valid RN license in Mississippi.

5 or more years of experience in occupational health or a related field. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level, and vice versa.

Active CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Knowledge of OSHA compliance, ergonomics, and health promotion.

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to write reports and speak confidently.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
