Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Soil & Concrete Testing Technician skilled in soils compaction, foundation inspection, concrete testing, and reinforcement inspection. The role requires proficiency in soil testing methodologies, including nuclear gauge, sand cone, and soil classification. Reliable transportation, preferably a light truck, is necessary to access various work sites in the Baltimore/Washington area.

Responsibilities

• Perform soil compaction testing and foundation inspections.

• Conduct concrete testing and reinforcement inspections.

• Utilize nuclear gauge and sand cone techniques for soil testing.

• Classify soil samples accurately.

• Travel to various sites for testing soil, concrete, and asphalt.

Essential Skills

• Experience in soil sample testing and classification.

• Proficiency in asphalt and concrete testing.

• Knowledge of nuclear gauge and sand cone methods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Certifications in WACEL and ACI.

• MARTCP certification is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glen Burnie, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
