Full job description

ASnapshot of Your Day

This position requires the successful candidate to support the production scheduling and material requirement planning aspects of the Engine Assembly manufacturing area within Siemens Energy Gas Turbine products division. The Demand Planner is responsible for providing key SAP interface for materials needed within production orders so they can be picked, confirmed, and staged for production. Also, to assist in some level of work center scheduling, capacity planning and communication of machine tool capabilities

HowYou’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and analyze productionstrategies, capacity plans, capital initiatives, and production requirements tosupport operational goals.

  • Manage SAP planning activities,including MRP, conflict resolution, labor hour validation, and operationalreporting.

  • Monitor customer demand andcoordinate production schedules, material logistics, and work center planningto ensure on-time delivery.

  • Partner with shop floor supportteams to ensure tools, materials, and critical information are available tomaintain production flow.

  • Drive resolution of productionissues, bottlenecks, and non-conformance rework through daily operationalreviews and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Generate performance metrics andproduction reports, track results against operating plans, and leverageadvanced Excel skills to support data-driven decision-making.

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturingexperience in scheduling, production control, line supervision, industrialengineering, or a related field.

  • Associate degree, skilled tradecertification, or equivalent relevant experience required; bachelor's degree(BS/BA) preferred.

  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Strong analytical anddecision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate options and determineappropriate solutions.

  • Demonstrated team-oriented mindsetwith a commitment to achieving shared objectives and organizational goals.

  • Proven ability to work in afast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities anddeadlines.
