Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior PACS Technician for a leading security and systems integration client supporting a high-priority government program. This individual will serve as a hands-on technical expert responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Physical Access Control Systems in a secure environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive Lenel experience, strong knowledge of door hardware and access control infrastructure, and the ability to independently manage credentialing, access administration, and system maintenance activities. This is a high-visibility opportunity with a strong probability of award and a clear path from a 6-month contract engagement into a full-time position. Mileage and parking expenses will be reimbursed.

Day-to-Day:

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot PACS infrastructure
  • Support construction and installation projects involving access control systems
  • Maintain door hardware, locking systems, access control panels, cameras, and associated equipment
  • Administer PACS software and user credentials
  • Manage access levels and system configurations
  • Perform system maintenance and repairs, including electric strikes
  • Support operational readiness and security requirements at the client site
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support of access control systems

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Physical Access Control Systems (PACS)

  • Current Lenel Certified Associate (LCA) certification

  • Current Lenel Certified Professional (LCP) certification

  • Current Certified Systems Engineer ICAM PACS (CSEIP) certification

  • Locksmith certification or equivalent commercial door hardware/locking systems experience

  • Experience with PACS-related construction and installation activities including: o Door hardware o Locking systems o Access control panels o Cameras o Server racks o Low-voltage electrical components

  • Experience administering PACS software, including: o Credential enrollment o Access-level management o System configuration o System maintenance

  • Ability to repair electric strikes

  • Ability to work onsite daily from 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
