Full job description

Job Duties

Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy within the therapist’s scope of practice.

Assess patient’s progress and modify treatment plans and interventions as appropriate.

Provide crisis assessments and intervention when needed.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Collaborate with primary care providers and other members of the patient’s healthcare team.

Coordinate with families, schools, community agencies, and other professionals when appropriate.

Connect patients with additional services and community resources as needed.

Maintain professional boundaries and comply with applicable ethical, legal, licensing, and organizational standards.

Participate in continuing education, professional development, and clinical consultation as appropriate

Minimum Education Required

Master’s Degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or another clinical behavioral health field that meets the educational requirements for applicable Minnesota professional licensure.

Current Minnesota licensure, or eligibility to obtain Minnesota Licensure, in an applicable mental health profession.

Qualified Licensure may include: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Psychologist (LP)

Candidates who have completed the required graduate education and are actively pursuing independent clinical licensure may also be considered, depending on qualifications and available clinical supervisor.

Minimum Experience Required

Previous experience providing outpatient mental health therapy.

Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and/or families.

Training or experience in evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, trauma-focused therapy, family therapy, or other specialized treatment modalities.

Experience collaborating within an integrated or multidisciplinary healthcare setting.

Strong clinical judgement, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
