Employment Type: Full timeShift: Day Shift Description: Preform the necessary sourcing for clinical engineering parts order, ensuring best price/product/delivery, compliance with parts agreements and analyzing supplier performance and pricing. Key to process flow for the automation between the field and the ordering process with Facilio and the integration into PeopleSoftResponsible for supporting the Trinity Health Clinical Engineering requisitioning of parts and services through proven and innovative approaches for THCE service and support with the goal of achieving significant cost reductions, standardization of requisitioning parts and services across multiple categories of spend and quality objectives. Responsible for the coordination and validation of medical equipment parts required in the course of providing service to customers, tracking stewardship and documenting vendor performance (via scorecard). Responsible for the accuracy and thoroughness of requisitions ensuring they are captured in the THCE's information management systems. Assists in implementation of contractual parts agreements, and ensures adherence through requisitioning process. Works with Trinity Health Supply Chain Procurement and follows their policy's to create a compatible working relationship with the THCE teams in the field and the vendors.

Knows, understands, incorporates and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision and Values in behaviors, practices and decisions. Ensures data collection which supports cost saving and "right" choice on parts requisitioning occurs within a .05 error rate. Assists with fact finding, best source analysis, vendor score cards and other ad hoc requests. Responsible for providing accurate data input and ensuring key information is gathered to support analysis of spend and opportunity of spend for individual medical devices and categories. Works with all areas of THCE, Supply Chain P2P teams, and THCE Finance to develop and maintain processes that support all aspects pertaining to the purchase of medical equipment replacement parts and service. May include duties such as performing audits on database information, producing reports from contract data, suggesting processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness of systems and overall general support of processes surrounding the requisition process. Processes THCE field replacement parts and service request through the centralized THCE requisitioning queue (approx. 100 requisitions a day, at 20 min each), through the reverse auctioning process. Determines best in class stewardship to include warranty, delivery and availability, etc. Serves as a subject matter expert in requisitioning of medical equipment parts replacement process and work flow, to include problem analysis and system support on the 4 individual interfaces between THCE CMMS application and P2P's current SCIS application. Maintains a complete comprehension of the parts buying agreements to ensure compliance. Tracks and reports on vendor compliance for best in class pricing/warranties, etc. through validation routines on a frequency determined by the type of parts and dollars committed. Documents all stewardship and cost avoidance efforts, as well as any noncompliance requests from the field. Participates in all vendor review meetings, contributing comprehensive insights on any relevant issues or concerns, as well as areas of excellence. Compiles THCE team requests submitted to Centralized Requisitioning, ensuring information is complete and accurate in order to interface information between THCE CMMS application and P2P's current SCIS application. Supports and contributes to process improvement that provides cost savings, increased efficiencies and enhanced customer service. Analyzes customer issues as assigned, and follows through to resolution for both application support and projects. Supports P2P on correcting price discrepancies and questions related to orders and products. Maintains HIPPA compliance and confidentially of information received, pertaining to but not limited patient, physicians, and associates. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health Home Office Integrity Program, Code of Ethics, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.
