Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an Information Management Specialist to work on-site at Camp Smith, HI.

The Information Management (Technical) Specialist will support MARFORPAC IKM efforts by designing and implementing AI-enabled solutions for enhanced command and control (C2), data analytics, and information sharing. The role is focused on technical solutions, architecture analysis, and integration of advanced capabilities across the command’s IM environment. This includes evaluating technical resources, managing system migrations, and documenting system requirements.

What you will do:

  • Apply AI/ML models for data analysis

  • Perform data preprocessing, integration, validation and visualization

  • Develop dashboards with tools like Palantir Maven and/or Power BI

  • Integrate AI-driven solutions into C2 and IM systems to enhance situational awareness and streamline data analytics.

  • Conduct technical assessments and lead analysis of the command's IM architecture, including System Impact Analyses (SIA) and SWOT analyses.

  • Design, develop, and manage an analytics framework to support real-time information sharing and decision-making.

  • Coordinate technical requirements gathering for C2 and IKM tools; translate operational needs into technical specifications.

  • Support SharePoint content and data migrations, including site architecture, permissions, and automated flows.

  • Manage the cataloging of IT systems and capabilities across the command; maintain technical documentation and matrices.

  • Assist in the integration of emerging technologies as part of AI-focused accelerator efforts to improve command effectiveness.

  • Implement adaptive system enhancements to support evolving Information Exchange Requirements (IERs) and collaboration needs.

  • Work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to explain complex AI/C2 concepts, benefits, and integration strategies.

  • Ensure all implementations align with security and compliance standards, including ethical handling of AI-driven outputs.

  • Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and system administrators to evaluate and test potential new technologies.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with PhD. Will consider Associate +14 or HS +16 years of experience

  • Understanding of Artificial Intelligence tools and capabilities

  • Knowledge of DOD, USMC and military culture and procedures

  • Ability to manage and brief senior leaders

  • Technical expertise in information systems, AI/ML integration, and C2 systems (e.g., SharePoint, C2IE, CAS, GCCS).

  • Proficiency in conducting system evaluations and translating business/mission needs into technical solutions.

  • Familiarity with USMC and DoD compliance, security standards, and IM system documentation practices.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.

  • Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI.

  • U.S. Citizenship required

Target Salary Range $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
