AI Engineer - II

As an AI Engineer - II, you will play a key role in designing and building production-grade AI systems. You will own critical AI initiatives, contribute to model architecture decisions, optimize model performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact AI products.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, fine-tune, and deploy advanced NLP and Generative AI models for production applications.
• Develop scalable model training, evaluation, and inference pipelines while improving accuracy, latency, and reliability.
• Work with Transformer-based architectures, LLMs, and modern AI frameworks to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to drive end-to-end AI solution delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to AI best practices, experimentation frameworks, and technical decision-making.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, NLP, or Generative AI-focused roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern Machine Learning frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts and Transformer architectures.
• Proven experience in model development, training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and production deployment.
• Strong foundations in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Algorithms, and System Design.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree from IITs, IISc, IIITs, BITS, top NITs, or equivalent premier institutes.

Good to Have:

• Experience working with LLMs, RAG systems, model optimization, quantization, or inference acceleration.
• Hands-on exposure to MLOps, model monitoring, and cloud-based AI deployment.
• Publications, research papers, patents, or contributions to the AI/ML community.
