Full job description

County Waste / Dunn Landfill has an immediate opening for an Equipment Operator to work at our site in Rensselaer, NY.

Pay Rate: $25/hr+ Depending on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm

  • Operating heavy equipment such as: bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor grader, scraper, and compactors.

  • Performing routine inspection and maintenance on equipment.

  • Promotingcontinuous improvementofworkplace safetyandenvironmental practices.

  • Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues.

What we need from you:

  • 2+ years’ experience running equipment

  • Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance.

  • Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforcesafety procedures.
