Schedule: Full time Shift: Night (United States of America) Address: 960 E Harvard Ave City: Denver State: Colorado Postal Code: 80210 Job Description:

  • Recognizes the influence of beliefs and cultures on behaviors and identifies possible communication barriers.
  • Facilitates individual, group, and family counseling as well as psycho-educational groups to promote patient emotional, spiritual, and psychological health.
  • Works with interdisciplinary teams to formulate and implement patient care using insight, limit setting, support, goal setting, and other techniques.
  • Evaluates for potential safety risks appropriately and responds to potentially dangerous situations to ensure patient safety in the least restrictive manner. Demonstrates working knowledge of the involuntary commitment process. Recognizes and reports suspected abuse/neglect in patients of all age groups according to guidelines.
  • Develops, prepares, and maintains individualized patient progress records with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Utilizes knowledge in the assessment of physical, psycho-social, environmental, spiritual, and financial factors to achieve healthcare goals.
  • Educates patients and families about behavioral health conditions and treatment options.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's [Required]

Field of Study:

  • in Behavioral Health related field

Work Experience:

  • 1+ of direct behavioral clinical experience providing individual, group or family therapy in an inpatient or outpatient setting [Preferred]

  • Competence with DSM diagnostic criteria and treatment planning. [Required]
