Description
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a manufacturing organization in St Paul, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position will add recruiting capacity to a busy talent team and support ongoing hiring across priority roles. The ideal candidate can step into a fast-moving environment, build strong partnerships with hiring managers, and independently drive searches from kickoff through offer stage.
Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for assigned openings, guiding each search from intake discussions through final offer acceptance.

Take ownership of an active requisition load quickly and keep hiring progress on track across multiple business priorities.

Create targeted sourcing approaches to attract talent for hard-to-fill, high-impact, and specialized positions.

Identify, evaluate, and engage candidates through diverse channels, including direct outreach, talent networks, and online recruiting tools.

Coordinate interviews, support selection decisions, and help move candidates efficiently through the hiring process.

Maintain timely updates in the applicant tracking system and ensure candidate records and requisition details remain accurate.

Deliver a thoughtful and responsive experience for candidates through clear communication and consistent follow-up.

Build and maintain talent pipelines that can support both immediate vacancies and future workforce needs.

Recognize recruitment obstacles early and recommend practical solutions that improve hiring outcomes and process efficiency.

Contribute to additional talent acquisition projects and evolving team initiatives as business demands change
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

At least 4 years of experience managing full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition responsibilities.

Proven ability to work with minimal supervision while handling multiple open positions and shifting deadlines.

Strong background in sourcing, screening, and assessing candidates for a range of business functions.

Experience using an applicant tracking system such as Workday to manage recruiting activity and data.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with candidates and stakeholders.

Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced hiring environment and integrate into an established recruiting team.

Previous recruiting experience in manufacturing, engineering, operations, or corporate functions is preferred.
