Delivery Management Engineer III supports the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases across complex delivery environments. This role works across Agile teams and cross-functional stakeholders to help drive timely, high-quality releases, strengthen release governance, and improve operational consistency. The ideal candidate brings experience managing release activities, documenting processes, and supporting continuous improvement in software delivery practices.

As a Delivery Management Engineer III on the Release Management and Delivery Excellence team, you will be responsible for...

Coordinate and manage end-to-end release planning and execution across development, quality assurance, operations, and product teams

Collaborate with multiple Agile teams to support timely, high-quality, and well-coordinated software releases

Develop, document, and improve release management processes and playbooks to drive consistency and efficiency

Facilitate release readiness and demonstration meetings with cross-functional stakeholders to confirm go/no-go decisions

Coordinate the drafting, review, and publication of release notes in partnership with Agile teams and the project management office

Train and support team members on release management tools, processes, and best practices

The team
The Release Management and Delivery Excellence team supports the processes, coordination, and governance needed to deliver high-quality technology releases across complex programs. The team works closely with engineering, product, operations, and project management stakeholders to improve release consistency, reduce delivery risk, and strengthen execution across the software development lifecycle. This group also helps drive process improvement, documentation standards, and operational readiness across multiple Agile teams.
Qualifications
Required:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
-
3+ years of experience in release management, software delivery, or program coordination supporting technology teams
-
3+ years of experience coordinating software releases across development, quality assurance, operations, and product teams in Agile environments
-
Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
-
Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or comparable work management tools
-
Experience supporting continuous integration and continuous deployment processes
-
Experience supporting multiple concurrent releases across distributed teams
-
Experience working with project management office governance, status reporting, and risk tracking
-
Scrum, SAFe, ITIL, or Project Management Professional certification
