  • Work as part of care team setting with a combination of solo and shared visits
  • Visits consisting of: routine follow up, cardiac pre op risk assessments, testing follow ups, acute follow ups
  • No Call

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $10,000 Commencement Bonus
  • Day One benefits

  • PSLF eligible

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Experienced Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants are strongly preferred

MercyOne Iowa Heart Center was founded in 1970 and is one of the largest cardiovascular practices in the US. With 52 Physicians, services are offered in General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiovascular Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Preventative Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease. Iowa Heart Center has an accredited Cardiology Fellowship program (6 Fellows), advanced imaging including cardiac MRI and cardiac CT, and a destination LVAD program. Iowa Heart Center has 8 primary office locations and attends 28 outreach facilities spanning much of the state of Iowa.
