Description

Job Title: Liability Claims Coordinator

Reports To: Claims Manager

Location: Wall Township, NJ

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Salary Range: $60K-$80K, based on experience

Job Summary:

The Liability Claims Coordinator provides risk management and operational support by performing liability claim investigations and development and implementation of risk management policies. Reporting to the Claims Manager, this position is responsible for securing complete investigations; securing all documents and evidence associated with each claim, and maintenance of the claims management systems. The Claims Coordinator will assist in designing workflow processes, provide reporting to management and risk management, and ensure data integrity and compliance with internal and external audit controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the liability claim investigation between internal stakeholders and external partners including insurance partners and defense counsel. Create a system for follow up and identify high exposures or problem areas.

  • Provide general system administration and maintenance of the claims management system, file set up, and integration with insurance partner platforms.

  • Research, design, test system updates.

  • Provide data summaries and statistical analysis for strategic planning and decision-making to management

  • Support North America in the claim process.

  • Partner with cross-functional management on updates to claims as needed and ensure the timely and accurate processing of information through the creation of best practice workflows.

  • Communicate pertinent information discovered through the course of the investigation to insurance carriers and management in an effective manner.

  • Create end-user training materials for risk management processes.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree majoring in Risk Management, Safety or legal field or related experience for three years of relevant experience in risk management or similar role.

  • Experience with analyzing claims data and using filters, pivot tables and other analytic functions in Excel
