Full job description
Description We are looking for a Tableau Next / Salesforce Analytic Consultant to join a long-term contract engagement supporting analytics initiatives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will strengthen reporting across Salesforce and Tableau environments while turning complex business data into clear, reliable insights. The ideal candidate brings a blend of hands-on dashboard development, data modeling, and governance experience to help create scalable analytical solutions that support informed decision-making.
Responsibilities:

Design and deliver new reports and dashboard experiences across Salesforce and Tableau to support visibility into sales operations and related business processes.

Refine existing analytical assets by improving data accuracy, performance, usability, and alignment with stakeholder needs.

Develop sophisticated reporting structures, including customized report configurations, multi-source views, and organized content frameworks for end users.

Consolidate data from Salesforce-connected sources into dependable datasets that support broader analysis and business reporting.

Use Tableau tools to prepare, transform, and structure data for dashboard development and ongoing analytical use.

Define and implement meaningful business metrics, calculations, and visual indicators that help teams monitor performance and trends.

Create data quality tracking solutions, including monitoring views and alerting mechanisms, to improve trust in reporting outputs.

Contribute to semantic model and governance initiatives by helping standardize definitions, metric logic, and data usage practices.

Partner closely with internal sales technology and business teams to prioritize requests, validate results, and evolve analytics solutions over time. Requirements • At least 3 years of experience working in analytics, business intelligence, or consulting roles focused on Salesforce and Tableau solutions.

Strong hands-on expertise with Salesforce reporting, dashboards, cross-filters, joined reports, and related analytical features.

Solid understanding of Salesforce data structures, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom object relationships.

Proven experience building dashboards and analytical content in Tableau Cloud or similar Tableau environments.

Proficiency in data analytics, business intelligence practices, and translating business questions into actionable reporting solutions.

Experience preparing, blending, or transforming data for analysis using Tableau-related tools or equivalent data preparation methods.

Ability to define metrics, calculations, and governance standards that improve reporting consistency and support scalable analytics.
